EverGantt is a hosted web application. When you create an account and use the Pro product, we store your project content in the cloud so you can save, reopen, and share it across devices and with your team. This page explains what we collect, who processes it on our behalf, where it lives, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. The free in-browser demo lets you build, edit, and export charts without an account, and that work isn't uploaded to us — but the Pro product deliberately stores your data in the cloud so it's there when you come back.
What we collect
- Account identity. Accounts and sign-in are handled by Clerk. Through Clerk we receive your email address, your name (if you provide it), and authentication metadata such as sign-in timestamps and the method you used to sign in.
- Project content. The charts and project data you save in the Pro product are stored on our behalf in Cloudflare R2, with associated metadata in Cloudflare D1. This is the data you create and control.
- Billing data. Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects the information needed to charge you and handle tax. We never see or store your full payment-card numbers.
- Basic analytics. Our public marketing pages include a Google Ads tag so we can measure advertising effectiveness. The application itself (app.evergantt.com) is not indexed and does not run general-purpose analytics or session recording.
Sub-processors
We rely on a small set of trusted sub-processors to operate the service. Each one only processes the data needed for its stated purpose:
- Clerk — authentication and account management.
- Paddle — payment processing, merchant of record, and tax handling.
- Cloudflare — application hosting, D1 (project metadata), and R2 (project file storage).
- Resend — delivery of transactional email (for example, account and support messages).
Where your data lives and how long we keep it
Your project files are stored in Cloudflare R2 and retained for as long as your account and subscription are active. We keep a small number of prior versions of your projects for a limited time so we can help you recover from accidental changes. When you delete your account, your project files are removed from R2 and your record is removed from our database, subject to brief delays for backups and propagation. We also keep operational logs and short-lived caches for security, abuse prevention, and reliability; these are retained for a limited period and are not used to profile you.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data, including the rights to access, correct, export, and delete it. We honor these rights regardless of your location:
- Access & correction. You can view and update your account details, and you can ask us what data we hold about you.
- Export. You can export your project data from the app at any time — your charts are yours, and you don't need to ask us to take them with you.
- Deletion. To delete your account, email [email protected]. Account deletion removes your projects from Cloudflare R2 and your record from our database. Data held by our sub-processors — such as your Clerk authentication record and Paddle's billing and tax records — is handled according to their own retention requirements, some of which are legally mandated (for example, tax records).
Cookies
The application uses Clerk session cookies to keep you signed in. Our marketing site uses Google Ads / marketing cookies for conversion measurement. We do not use third-party advertising trackers beyond Google Ads conversion tracking, and we do not sell your personal information.
Children
EverGantt is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above, and where appropriate we will provide additional notice. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
